As a corporate traveler, my recent experience at Courtyard by Marriott for a business retreat was a mixed bag. the hotel's business amenities, such as the well-equipped 2300 square feet conference space, free parking, and fast internet access, were satisfactory. the efficient 24-hour reception and express check-in/-out made my workday smooth. Working remotely was convenient with the on-site business center, allowing me to stay productive. the fitness center helped me unwind after long meetings, and the indoor swimming pool was a refreshing break. However, the lack of separate office spaces for remote work was a drawback. While the bar/lounge area and restaurant were conducive to informal meetings, noise levels could be distracting. The hotel's pet-friendly policy and air conditioning were appreciated, creating a comfortable environment. On the flip side, the restriction of smoking on-site was a minor inconvenience for some guests. In conclusion, Courtyard by Marriott offers essential amenities for business travelers, though improvements in noise control and dedicated remote workspaces could enhance the overall experience for corporate guests.
